Hogmanay

This year's Edinburgh Hogmanay is sure to be a festival not to miss. I have had the privilege of attending one a few years back and I still am able to remember it quite vividly. This New Year's celebration is one of the most exciting ones that I have ever seen in my life, and trust me, I have been to many. There is just something about celebrating New Years in Scotland that gives me shivers.

Eating Scotland

I am absolutely addicted to food. Not in the sense that I lay around all day and munch on anything I can get my hands on, but in a finer sense. There is nothing more delightful than preparing a meal with a great amount of care and attention, and then enjoying it with loved ones.

Scots and Fashion?

To tell you the truth, I have a difficult time understanding fashion. It seems no matter how hard I try, my wife always feels as though she needs to step in and fix my entire outfit. At first I did not mind this, as I did want to make sure that I was not embarrassing myself when we went out into public. But, eventually, it began to grow old. Surely I was not fashionable inept. Matching ties to shoes and belts, and all that other jazz that has become so popular can all be researched on the internet, yet this approach does seem a little mechanical to me. Where is the personalization of it all? Can I not just wear what I want to? Apparently not, according to my wife.
