Paris is a magnificent city, that is why tourists are quite amazed by it, and it explains why we talk it over and over again. There is always what to say. So have you ever wondered what is the real triumph of the Triumphal Arch in Paris? I happen to know its story.
Sitting on the terrace of Hotel Paris and admiring this big achievement of humanity, I wanted to know what event is behind the creation of it. So logically thinking the Triumphal arch commemorates the heroic past and is built up in memory of the all soldiers given their lives for the country.
Great. I know the reason for its building. Now I'm interested how the second largest arch in the world was built? Did you know that this particular arch is a four-arched one. It is Roman type monumental gateway, probably dating from 1806-1836. Now almost 2 centuries later this Arch is tourists' favourite and by it is perfect position in the centre of the traffic juncture at the end of the famous Champs Elysées boulevard. Ideal position for a tourist attraction.
Next time you are in Paris, take some time to visit the arch from the inside and become acquainted with the heroic feat of all the soldiers who died for France.
